The Renewable Energy Consumer Code from REAL Assurance was set up by the Renewable Energy Association and is approved by the Trading Standards Institute (TSI). The code aims to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small generation units for their home, for a community building or for a small business.  RECC membership is a sign that the supplier has agreed to abide by the high standards as set out in the REAL Consumer Code.

QANW operate the Deposit & Workmanship Warranty Insurance scheme (DAWWI), which has been specifically designed to help Renewable Energy Installers facilitate the compliance of approved consumer codes and certification bodies such as RECC and MCS. This also means our product provides adequate financial protection to the customer.


TrustMark is a government-endorsed quality scheme for trades that operate in and around the home. It is not possible to join Trustmark directly and you must join through a licensed Scheme Provider.
